Date of next meeting of the IOPC Funds’ governing bodies changed to December 2020

The International Maritime Organization (IMO) has restructured its 2020 calendar of meetings as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 global pandemic.  The next meeting of the IOPC Funds’ governing bodies has therefore been rescheduled to 2 to 4 December 2020 and will consist of the following sessions: 

• the 25th session of the 1992 Fund Assembly; 
• the 74th session of the 1992 Fund Executive Committee; and 
• the 17th session of the Supplementary Fund Assembly.   

The new IMO meeting schedule is based on the assumption that the IMO Headquarters building will not be available for full, physical meetings for the remainder of the year, thus the schedule is for remote sessions.   

The Secretariat is making adjustments and completing the work required to assist Member States in managing their participation in the meeting and will endeavour, as always, to ensure that the meeting is run in the most efficient manner possible.
