Director’s visit to Japan – January 2016

On 28 January 2016, the Director was invited to participate in a two-day oil spill symposium organised by the Petroleum Association of Japan, where he delivered a presentation on the role of the IOPC Funds.
The Director met with the Vice Minister, Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT) and the Director General of the Maritime Bureau, MLIT. He also paid a courtesy visit to the Chairman of the Petroleum Industry Marine Association of Japan (PIMA).
