IOPC Funds participates in virtual workshop for Irish Coast Guard

The IOPC Funds participated in a virtual workshop organised by Ambipar Response for the Irish Coast Guard on 28 November 2024. The event also featured presentations from the International Group of P&I Associations and ITOPF. 

IOPC Funds’ Claims Manager, Mark Homan, provided a general overview of the international liability and compensation regime for oil pollution damage, with a particular focus on clean up claims. His presentation also addressed the potential impact of sanctions on the international regime. 

The workshop attracted approximately 20 participants.
