IOPC Funds publishes Annual Report 2023

The IOPC Funds has published its Annual Report for 2023. Containing both general information about the role of the organisation and its specific activities and achievements for the past year, this Report also includes financial data, oil reporting statistics and key developments in incidents in a comprehensive and engaging format.

In the opening section, IOPC Funds’ Director, Gaute Sivertsen, reflects on his second year in office with a personal review of the areas of focus for the IOPC Funds in 2023. In particular, he highlights the work undertaken in respect of new and ongoing incidents, the concerns raised during the year regarding the failure of States to comply with obligations and the potential impact of international sanctions, as well as the progress towards the entry into force of the 2010 HNS Convention. This year’s report also includes observations from the Chairs of the governing bodies and words from a number of staff members on some of the key activities carried out by the organisation during 2023.
