The IOPC Funds has published its Annual Report for 2025, featuring a new, concise format that highlights specific activities and achievements during the year. In line with the IOPC Funds’ commitment to supporting the environment, the new version is available exclusively online, and future editions will no longer be produced in hard copy. The Report, which includes financial data, oil reporting statistics and key developments relating to incidents over the past year, presents this information in a clear and engaging manner.

In the opening section, IOPC Funds’ Director, Gaute Sivertsen, reflects on his fourth year in office and reviews the organisation’s key focus areas for 2025. He highlights the work undertaken concerning ongoing incidents, concerns raised during the year about the potential impact of international sanctions on the international liability and compensation regime, the risks posed by uninsured and unsafe ships, and progress made towards the entry into force of the 2010 HNS Convention. The report also includes observations from the Chairs of the governing bodies and contributions from staff members on some of the key activities carried out by the organisation during the period under review.

The Annual Report can be accessed online in the publications section of the IOPC Funds’ website.
