ITLOS-Nippon Fellows visit the IOPC Funds

On 1 March 2019, the Head of External Relations and Conference, Thomas Liebert, gave a lecture to five ITLOS-Nippon fellows, who are participating in the dispute settlement training programme organised by the International Tribunal for the Law of the Sea (ITLOS) and supported by the Nippon Foundation. Mr Liebert introduced the legal framework of the international liability and compensation regime and the governance structure of the IOPC Funds. The lecture was followed by a group discussion on the topics presented.
