New Legal Counsel joins the Secretariat

The Director is very pleased to announce that Mr Kensuke Kobayashi has recently joined the Secretariat on 24 August 2015 as the new Legal Counsel. Mr Kobayashi has an extensive legal and international policy and affairs background, having worked for the Japanese government since 1996. He joins the IOPC Funds from the International Planning and Coordination Office of the Japanese Maritime Bureau and has in the past represented the Japanese Government in various international forums including the IMO and the IOPC Funds’ governing bodies.
