OSRL claims and compensation exercise

On 23 November 2017, Chiara Della Mea and Ana Cuesta from the Claims Department were invited by Oil Spill Response Limited (OSRL) to run a one-day claims and compensation tabletop exercise in Southampton, United Kingdom. The exercise was attended by 13 participants and was designed to simulate an oil spill incident. It sought to familiarise the responders with the best course of action to be taken during the initial stage of an oil spill to maximise cost recovery. It also gave participants the opportunity to prepare and present claims for clean-up operations and discuss various issues related to the claims they submitted during the exercise.
