Regional Workshop, Alexandria, Egypt

The IOPC Funds participated in a regional interactive workshop on the international liability and compensation regime from 13–16 March, in Alexandria, Egypt. Organised by the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and hosted by the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, the workshop was attended by 35 participants from 11 countries from the Arab region. The workshop saw IOPC Funds’ Claims Manager Chiara Della Mea, deliver presentations on the international liability and compensation regime for oil pollution, the role of the IOPC Funds and the 2010 HNS Convention.
