Students from Ghent University visit the IOPC Funds

On 12 November 2019, the IOPC Funds welcomed a group of students from Ghent University, Belgium, studying a Masters in Maritime Science. The Legal Counsel, Kensuke Kobayashi, gave a presentation on the legal framework of the international liability and compensation regime. The lecture was then followed by a tour of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and a further presentation by IMO on its work as a UN specialised agency.
