Visit from the Japanese Shipowners’ Association

The Director was delighted to welcome the Vice President of the Japanese Shipowners’ Association (JSA), Mr Keiji Tomoda, to the IOPC Funds’ offices on 2 March 2023.

The Director shared recent developments and activities of the organisation with Mr Tomoda and was interested to learn of the activities of the JSA in their efforts to contribute to the healthy development of the shipping industry. Mr Tomoda also thanked the Director for his visit to JSA’s office in 2022.

Both Mr Tomoda and the Director reaffirmed their commitment to the long-lasting cooperation between the IOPC Funds and JSA.

The Japanese Shipowners’ Association (JSA) is a nationwide maritime organisation of Japanese owners, charterers and operators of ships with a capacity of 100 gross tonnes and over.
