Visit to Athens University

On 9 May 2019, the Director was pleased to return to the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece, to deliver a number of presentations on the role of the IOPC Funds and the legal framework of the international liability and compensation regime. He also covered in detail a number of incident case studies, including the Agia Zoni II. In relation to the incident, the Director took the opportunity to visit the IOPC Funds’ Claims Submission Office in Piraeus where he met with staff and a number of claimants.
