Visit to Japan 2018

From 4 to 6 April 2018, the Director, Mr José Maura, travelled with the Legal Counsel, Mr Kensuke Kobayashi, to Japan for various meetings with government officials, contributors to the Funds and others.
In particular, the Director and the Legal Counsel took the opportunity to meet with the Director-General, Mr Atsumi Gamou, and other officers of the Maritime Bureau at the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT).
They also met with the Chairman of the Petroleum Industry Marine Association of Japan (PIMA), Mr Yuji Saita, and the Director-General of the Japan Ship Owners’ Mutual Protection & Indemnity Association (Japan P&I Club), Mr Hiroshi Sugiura.
