Visit to Vikoma

The Director and a small team from the Secretariat visited the Vikoma site, Isle of Wight, UK on 18 May 2016. Founded in 1967, Vikoma designs and manufactures oil and chemical pollution control systems which have been used in response to many incidents involving the IOPC Funds over the years.

The Secretariat was given an overview of the company during a presentation session, followed by a factory tour, demonstration of a skimmer and deployment of a variety of equipment at the nearby harbour.
